Review Detail
2007 Chanters Ridge Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
88
A dull red in the glass, the nose has a certain funk about it with undergrowth and stewed dark fruits.
The palate is laden with fruit that ranges from plum to dark cherry, the tannins are fine, and the acid provides structure and focus on the finish that shows good length.
It will be interesting to see where this wine continues to go over the next couple of years.
