Review Detail
2008 Spring Vale Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
88
A deep to ruby red in colour, the nose has floral red cherry characters with a more firm undertone of damp earth.
The palate is masculine and takes some time to unfurl with dark cherry dominant; French oak frames the wine and there is considerable fruit driven length on the finish.
This wine is yet to reach its peak, with a few more years in the bottle expect to see the complexity on the mid to back palate to continue to grow.
