Review Detail
2001 Clyde Park Estate Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
90
A wine that has moved into the secondary stage of it's development, with a slightly browning to brick red colour.
The nose has undergrowth, porty plum and cherry aromas, the palate has good structure with fine tannins and precise acidity that contrasts earthy stewed cherry fruit.
The wine finishes with drying coffee oak, with the 2001 best enjoyed over the next couple of years.
