Wine Rating

96
Drinking Bannockburn Pinot Noir is an experience, the wines are stylistically consistent and always push the boundaries of what can be delivered by the variety when quality fruit meets adept winemaking.

The nose opens with sweet cinnamon, on a second smell there is sappy forest floor aromas that are wrapped around earthy cherry fruits.

The palate treads a tightrope with a savoury structure that has just enough red fruits to add contrast and depth, with the savoury and spicy elements on the mid to back palate hauntingly complex.

The length on the finish is superb. An excellent release.
