Pinot Noir

2008 Two Degrees Central Otago Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
91
A medium red hue in colour, the wine has a dense nose with rich cherry and plum that is backed by cedary french oak.
The palate has a consistent depth of red fruits from start to finish with spicy nuances and tannins found in equal measure keeping the wine balanced,
This wine manages to maintain varietal Pinot expression but with all characters amplified. The mouth feel is immense and the finish considerable.
Drinking right in its sweet spot now.
