Wine Rating

A fully developed somewhat murky red in colour, the nose is a mineral combination of forest floor and stewed cherry that gains complexity from subtle cinnamon and nutmeg. This is a wine I could smell for hours to pick up all its intricacies.

The wine has excellent structure; dark cherry with a savoury edge that works well against typical burgundy minerality, fine sappy tannins and gentle spice.

The wine finishes with developed cherry, cinnamon and wood smoke, the length is considerable. A great wine.
