Review Detail
1987 Domaine Y Clerget Pommard-Rugiens 1er Cru
Wine Rating
87
A fully mature light red, tending to a light brown towards the rim. The nose has a slight porty aspect with stem and forrest floor aromas, but is past it’s best.
The palate is almost devoid of fruit, with leathery tannin and gamey flavours all that is left, it is still an enjoyable wine from a texture perspective, but is not a great old Burgundy.
