Pinot Noir November 24, 2014
2003 Terindah Estate Pinot Noir
Wine Rating

95
Tasted blind this wine could be mistaken for quality aged burgundy, the colour is a dull red that has a slight bricking towards the rim. The nose is exceptional with sous bois, earth, old leather and briny cherry fruit.

The wines balance is it’s hallmark with french oak inputs still evident giving a spicy lift to the forrest floor and red berry fruit on the palate. The acid is bright and accentuates the wines length, finishing with dark cherry interwoven with brambly savoury spice.

At 11 years young this wine is at it’s peak now, but will hold for a few more years yet.
