Review Detail
2013 Levantine Hill Pinot Noir
(Updated: May 01, 2016)
Wine Rating
95
A light to medium red hue in the glass, the nose melds earthen complexity and piercingly pure cherry fruit and lifted spice. The palate has smokey, stemmy cherry with rhubarb and plum fruit and background notes of spicy fine grained french oak. There is great balance, all the wines elements work together with drying dark cherry accentuated by baking spices, the finish has sappy cherry with flashes of quality oak.
Drinking beautifully now, but will reward medium term cellaring.
