A medium to light red hue in the glass, a nose that shows sweet french oak initially, with forrest floor notes secondary and evolving with time.

The palate has primary dark cherry fruit on entry, the wine is seamless in terms of texture, a rich velvety vein of quality French oak throughout ties the wine together although there is some enjoyable contrasts with more forrest floor and gamey characters towards the finish. The tannins are savoury and drive expansive length to finish.
