Review Detail
2003 Bouchard Finlayson Tete de Cuvee Galpin Peak Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
93
A deceptively dark red in the glass for a Pinot, the nose is a mature and enjoyable combination of forrest floor and dark cherry amongst flashes of spicy oak.
The palate gives brambly cherry that is wrapped up by new oak and complemented by mineral tannins, the finish gives rosemary and sage to drying dark cherry fruits.
