Review Detail
2006 Yering Station Reserve Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
94
This is a wine with concentration and power, the wine has a masculinity expressed through the dense dark cherry and plum laden palate. Lashings of new french oak give richness and at the same time a striking spice and structure. Savoury aspects come to the fore across the palate with attractive forrest floor a point of difference and an indication it still has a few years left under it’s belt before the wines components that are being delicately held in suspension start to loose their balance.
