Review Detail
2014 Bindi Dixon Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
94
The Dixon Pinot Noir is produced from a number of Estate blocks and gives a decidedly bright and youthful red in the glass. The nose is primary and red fruited with strawberry and cherry working in with background notes of gravel and forrest floor.
Dense and taught cherry and plum combine with rosemary and sage spice adding some softness and approachability , tannins are drying and earthen with dark cherry and rhubarb framing the finish.
Enjoyable now, but a wine that really needs time.
