Review Detail
2014 Bicknell FC Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
96
Attractive light red in the glass with dark cherry and savoury notes of fresh herbs that work well amongst feminine spice.
A nervy and focused core that has drying but fine tannin and mineral acidity. Damp earth contrasts dark cherry with rhubarb and touches of blood orange giving way to a long drying finish that is interjected by oak spice.
A complex and elegant wine that is drinking well now and will reward medium term cellaring.
