A beautiful light red in the glass with an initially reductive nose that with time in the glass gives baked rhubarb with gentle baking spice to strawberry and lighter red cherry.

A lean, if not attractive palate with up front cherry and strawberry working with an earthen baseline of drying fine grain tannins and chalky acidity. Oak comes into play on the mid to back palate and provides some richness and suppleness that offsets the more savoury notes.

Will continue to evolve over the shorter term.
