Review Detail
2014 Levantine Hill Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
97
Another stellar release from Levantine Hill with complexity across the spectrum of aroma, texture and flavour. The wine is a medium red hue in colour with turkish delight, cherry cola, sweet stem and spice making the nose irresistible.
The palate has expansive dark cherry initially with rhubarb coming through and layered french oak that brings it’s accompanying spice and supple richness to the wine. The finish shows more worked and savoury cherry characters alongside touches of earth, the length is exceptional.
