Review Detail
2017 Byrne Gisborne Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
94
A light to medium red hue in the glass with a nose of fresh earth, rhubarb, sappy cherry and spice.
Medium to full bodied with a suppleness of tannin that enjoys bracken and clove undertones; there is a build of dark cherry and rhubarb with brown spices woven into the picture.
The finish is set against a backdrop of earthen dark cherry with length to burn. A beautiful expression of Sunbury Pinot Noir.
