Review Detail
2018 Sticks Yarra Valley Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
91
The team at sticks is led by a very clever winemaker in Tom Belford, with this release representing good value at $25. The wine gives a light red in the glass with a nose of rhubarb, cherry and bramble. The wine begins supple and fruit forward but slowly shows a more savoury and earthen side as the palate builds; acidity and tannin come into their own to finish with an enjoyable crunch to brown spices and smokey black cherry fruit.
