Review Detail
2017 d’Arenberg Feral Fox Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
89
A light red in the glass, the nose has smoke, undergrowth and mulch with some sappy rhubarb and cherry notes. There palate sees a continuation of the savoury and smokey thread from the nose with a fullness of red berry fruits that fill the mouth. Acidity is there, and needed to keep the 14.5% alcohol in check with fresh earth and stem mixed with spice before the broad and long finish.
