This is a very floral and pretty Pinot that takes you for a tour across the Ten Minutes by Tractor vineyard sites with the wine a mix of Coolart Road (63%), McCutcheon (18%), Wallis (12%), Judd (7%) with a number of clones used. The wine was aged in French oak for 9 months of which 20% was new.
A light red in the glass with lovely aromatics of red cherry, with a touch of rhubarb and a seductive weave of spice. The palate is supple and approachable with primary fruits having a backdrop of earth and spice alongside a flicker of rhubarb and baking herbs. The wine will continue to grow over the medium term but is so approachable now.
