Review Detail
2017 Sidewood Stablemate Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
88
A light red as you would expect from both the variety and season, the nose has some funk and leathery notes to dark cherry and rhubarb fruit; the palate is medium bodied with a nice interplay between acid and tannin with red berry fruits continuing on the earthy old world theme. A wine of charm that may divide drinkers but in my mind more than worth it for the price.
