Review Detail
2019 Harewood Estate Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
90
A pretty light to medium red in colour, the nose has dense cherry and rhubarb fruit with a slight sappiness and freshly tilled earth
The wine carries its 14% alcohol well with dark cherry and strawberry giving varietal characteristics but as you would expect bigger and extracted than is sometimes the case, there is a weave of warm spices that gives complexity and contrast to the finish.
At a retail of $20 there is definitely value here.
