2018 Burton McMahon George’s Vineyard Pinot Noir
Wine Rating

91
A collaboration from a couple very talented winemakers, with the grapes sourced from a small, cool site in the upper Yarra Valley.

A light to medium red hue with an enjoyable nose of dark cherry, rhubarb and generous baking spice. The palate has elegance and good concentration with oak and some savoury earthen nuance providing backbone to the wine. Dark cherry flows with tannins that are present yet fine before nice lines of acidity afford good length to finish.

Will be sure to enjoy some time developing in bottle.
