Review Detail
2018 Sidewood Estate Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
93
A wine that marries a pretty disposition with structure and savoury texture. A light red in the glass with dark cherry and rhubarb on the nose that is joined by undergrowth and gentle spice.
There is spiced earth and rhubarb backbone to the wine with layers of red and black cherry, tannins are fine but give texture and accentuate the wines finish with cherry and a weave of alpine herbs alongside fresh earth. Will age effortlessly.
