Review Detail
2019 Sidewood 777 Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
93
A lovely light red in the glass, the nose gives rhubarb, raspberry and earthen red cherry fruit. The palate is supple, with a glossy texture that is imparted by red cherry fruit and a gentle envelope of spice coming from the inclusion of 30% whole bunches. The finish has some savoury flare and adds more contrast to the moreish red berry fruits on the palate, with enough tannin and acid to reward medium term cellaring.
