Review Detail
2020 Patrick’s Vineyard Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
90
The wine was made from a small vineyard perched amongst the Cobaw Ranges with the wine spending 18 months in French oak prior to release.
A medium red in colour with a nose that shows savoury impact in terms of bramble and sage with richer dark cherry and plum accentuated by background baking spice. The palate continues in the same vein with dark cherry fruit etched with earthen impact and a gentle richness that comes from time in oak. The finish has very good length and showcases a quality site and winemaker influence in equal measure.
