2008 Barrat The Bonython Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
94
A light red in colour, the nose has stewed cherry, cinnamon and new leather. The fruit is persistent and shows good varietal expression of dark cherry, cinnamon, and ripe earthy tannins. The wine is complex and has layers of subtle flavor that leads to a long and pleasing finish that disappears and comes back again for an encore on the back palate. An excellent wine.
