Review Detail
Pinot Noir
May 10, 2011
2008 Seppelt Drumborg Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
93
A very light red in the glass, slightly browning towards the rim.
The nose is earthy and rustic with stems and subtle cherry.
The palate is understated in terms of concentration, but has a superb array of subtle flavours.
The front palate has dusty cherry with coffee undertones, the mid to back palate takes on a more earth and stem character with underlying cherry and spice.
The finish shows good length
