2006 Shadowfax Pinot Noir
Wine Rating

92
A lighter ruby red in colour, the nose has developed ripe cherry and a slight sweetness from the oak.

The palate has soft cherry fruit with stem to start but it moves toward a more briney / soy character with a pronounced bite towards the finish.

An exceptionally unique Pinot that is as intriguing as it is tasty, can effortlessly go another few years in the cellar.
