Review Detail
2009 Mount Mary Pinot Noir
Wine Rating
95
A very light red in colour, the nose has rustic and appealing aromas of stem and dark cherry that give an indication of the winemaking and philosophy that went into making the wine.
The palate is edgy and youthful with savoury cherry, drying tannins, precise spicy oak inputs and an acid structure that ebbs and flows from start to finish.
The finish has elegance and length with herbaceous cherry the lasting memory.
