A tawny to translucent red in colour, lovely spiced Christmas cake with generous plum. Brandy spirit has impact with the wine balanced in terms of fruit and spirit. There are some caramel tones to plum fruit with an oxidative, rancio like impact and incredible length to finish.
A reminder of the sheer enjoyment that can come from well made fortified from old vine sites.
