2015 Tapanappa Eden Valley Riesling

I believe this is the first Riesling produced under the Tappanappa label and is sourced from the Eden Valley, the wine is made in the same un-compromised and quality focussed manner as the rest of the wines that are crafted at the winery located on the site of the iconic Tiers vineyard.

The wine is a very light yellow with a fleck of green in the glass, the nose gives youthful floral aromatic of jasmine and citrus flowers with an element of musk.

The palate is controlled by a slatey acidity that gives precision and a firm backbone to fresh citrus and green apple. The wine finishes with a flare of citrus and textural acidity. This wine will age gracefully for a number of years.
