2018 Castle Rock Estate Porongurup Riesling

This has been a perennial favourite of mine, a wine that is consistently beautiful in it’s youth and inspired with age.

A classical nose of orange blossom, jasmine, lime and crushed rock. The palate show citrus fruits that are laced with floral tones that are the hallmark of Castle Rock; there is a saline acidity that gives the wine expansive depth and makes it one of the more morish wines you can try. Lemon rind provides flavour and texture to finish and is swept along by precise lime fruits.
