There is plenty to like about 2018 in the Clare Valley, with the Emerald Isle release from Steve Wiblin bristling with varietal appeal, it’s light on it’s feet but not without concentration.
The nose is a mix of citrus blossom, slate, candied lime and meyer lemon, with the palate showing a wine of purity and balance with layers of precise citrus fruits enjoying embellishments of jasmine and crushed rock.
Electric in its youth and bound to age well.
