2019 Gundog Estate Riesling

Gundog Estate are quietly carving out a reputation as one of the most consistent producers across Canberra District and the Hunter Valley, their wines capture the location from which they are sourced and show balanced winemaking.

This wine is a gentle reminder of the quality being produced in the nations capital with lovely aromatics of chalk, lime and jasmine that are as fresh was they are varietal.

There are generous and pure fruits that work along a baseline of taut acidity that takes on a citrus tone whilst being both powdery and precise in nature. Finger limes and slate complete the wine with excellent length.
