2020 Gundog Estate Riesling

2020 will go down as a year that most won’t forget and it started early with NSW and Canberra District wine regions significantly impacted by bushfires. That is the likely reason for a Yarra Valley version of the Gundog Estate Riesling ! A light yellow in the glass with chalky citrus and jasmine on the nose. The palate is light with enjoyable lime that has floral tones with a mineral edge, but lacks the drive in depth of fruit to take it further. An undeniably well made wine.
