Review Detail
2010 Frogmore Creek FGR Riesling
(Updated: January 31, 2014)
Wine Rating
94
This top Aussie riesling makes you question why off dry riesling's aren't more popular in this country.
The nose has a mineral/savoury character with a touch of pear, it is on the palate that this wine is most interesting; the mouth feel created due to the residual sugar and piercing acidity is something to be enjoyed, it heightens the quality of the fruit and provides seemingly endless length to finish.
