2013 Heirloom Vineyards Eden Valley Riesling
(Updated: October 29, 2015)
Wine Rating

93
Heirloom have slowly been building their reputation over the last 10 years, sourcing grapes from across South Australia, specifically sourcing varieties that are known for their affinity to a region; Eden Valley Riesling being one such example in this case.

There are floral aromatics on the nose with lemon zest and a touch of developed petroleum that is additive to the experience.

The wine has good mouthfeel with a fullness to contrast mineral acidity and developed lime. The mid palate has nuances of citrus flowers with a long and defined finish of crushed rock and citrus.
