Review Detail
2009 Gisborne Peak Lost Bin Riesling
Wine Rating
90
Macedon as a region is not known for it's riesling, however this is an attractive example of the variety with a few years under the belt.
The wine is a light yellow to green in the glass, with a developed nose of lime zest, touch of kerosine and flint. The wine has a baseline of lemon and lime with great mouthfeel, this wine is in a very good spot right now with a soft and layered finish that will support some additional cellaring over the next few years.
