This was a privilege to drink, reminding me that an exceptional aged riesling is one of the wine worlds great gifts.
A mature golden yellow in colour, the nose gives lanolin, buttered toast and flint with a suggestion of candied lime. The wine unfurls itself with heady combination of buttery nectarine that flows swiftly towards a more citrus dominated expression. There is a long and satisfying lime inspired finish, accentuated by struck match and flint.
