Review Detail
2015 d’Arenberg The Dry Dam Riesling
Wine Rating
94
Sourced from McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills, this off dry riesling comes in with a pH of 2.79 and close to 16 g residual sugar which creates a great tension across the palate.
The nose gives attractive citrus blossom and pickled ginger, there is a breadth of candied citrus and lime cordial that is accentuated by residual sugar, but masterfully held in suspension with piercing acidity.
Great length to finish, with the wine being very good value.
