The young vine Riesling from Crawford River is produced from new plantings that were established in 2000 The wine sits well alongside the Crawford River Riesling, and at this stage in it's development is a classic representation of cool climate riesling.
A light almost clear yellow in the glass, the nose is steeped with floral and citrus notes against a backdrop of wet slate and talc.
The plate shows a mixture of lemon and lime fruit with drying textural acidity giving the wine dimension and a solid base for future development. The finish is drying and firm with lingering citrus fruits.
