Review Detail
2011 Peter Lehmann Wigan Riesling
Wine Rating
95
A light yellow that is still maintaining a tinge of green in the glass. 2011 continues to be an exceptional year for white wines with the acidity and structure a consistent positive across south east Australia.
Wigan with time on it is a remarkable thing, the nose has developed some kerosine notes to more concentrated lime cordial and lanolin notes.
Such an energized palate with mouth puckering acidity and beautifully refreshing lime zest that is exhilarating with its purity. A hard wine to put down.
