Review Detail
2016 Robert Stein Riesling
Wine Rating
94
A light yellow with a fleck of green in the glass, the nose gives a delicate interplay between white flowers, wet slate and lavender. The palate is youthful and carries a baseline of unsweetened lime cordial, but is anything but one dimensional with mineral notes and touches of musk adding depth. The finish is chalky, drying and focused with lingering lime fruit.
Young riesling is a wonderful thing, enjoy this now or give it time in the cellar.
