Review Detail
2016 Byron & Harold The Partners Riesling
Wine Rating
94
An attractive nose that gives the wine a prettiness from the outset with floral citrus blossom taking on a rosewater and pomegranate character that’s well supported by both green and red apple.
The palate gives a full mouthfeel initially but maintains a lightness of touch with a beautifully integrated backbone of acidity allowing a seamless transition to richer red apple and faint musk before citrus and lime fruits headline the finish.
Drinking well now, but will also reward time.
