Review Detail
2017 Gundog Estate Riesling
Wine Rating
96
This is the first Riesling release from Gundog Estate that's sourced from the Four Winds Vineyard in Murrumbatemen. This is an impeccable Riesling that is beautifully aromatic with white flowers, lime zest and peppery Granny Smith on the nose.
The palate opens with touches of green apple with a slight candied note before chalky, slate like acidity combines with an enjoyable lemon twist. The finish has crushed rock purity with floral jasmine adding another layer to well defined citrus.
Incredible length.
