Review Detail
2017 Auburn Hill Clare Valley Riesling
Wine Rating
92
This wine is produced by Mitchell Wines, and is a beautiful expression of the variety, region and the producer. The nose has a jasmine like floral aromatic with flashes of lychee and lime.
The palate continues in a similar vein with a backbone of juicy acidity that is laced by jasmine with meyer lemon and candied lime filling out the wine.
The finish has breadth and mouthfeel with a generosity of texture that has enough acidity to give contrast. A moreish wine that is ready to go this summer, but will age well.
