Review Detail
2017 Z Wine Saul Riesling
Wine Rating
92
This is a concise, yet complex rendition of the variety for which the Eden Valley is so well known. The wine is a light yellow in the glass with a nose that gives candied lime, slate and freshly cut flowers that speak of the wines youth, and will evolve in years to come.
The palate has the lime infused edge that one would expect from the variety and region, but enjoys breadth that is provided by new season pear and granny smith apple. The finish has a tautness of acidity that drives length with citrus the lingering note.
