Review Detail

2017 Byron and Harold Wandering Lane Riesling
Wine Rating

92
Sourced from the Great Southern region there is plenty of parallels between this wine and ‘The Partners’ release from the same vintage, if anything the Wandering Lane is a little more fruit forward.

A light yellow in the glass the nose has jasmine, crushed rock, green apple and lime. There is floral richness to the wine before a tart and zesty line of citrus acidity powers through the mid palate. Crunchiness of granny smith apple frames the finish with excellent length.
