Review Detail
2018 Robert Stein Riesling
Wine Rating
94
Impressive as usual, the 2018 release from Robert Stein continues a fine vein of form for the iconic Mudgee producer. A light yellow with a nose that is geared around finely toned citrus fruits, crushed slate and jasmine.
There is an understated elegance to the wine, even whilst at it’s most youthful when citrus and mineral acidity are on full show it maintains an expansive mouthfeel with floral edged citrus fruits, the finish is long and generous.
